Where to Get Tested
December 10, 2020We know it can be difficult to know where to turn for COVID. Testing is available in many locations throughout Connecticut, free of charge. Some sites, however, will require a medical visit which may entail a charge.
Below is a list of sites that Starling staff put together that may be helpful. Due to the rapidly evolving situation, it is important to confirm information prior to your visit and this list is not exhaustive. Please note that some sites will not test children under 10.
Some helpful options to find a location near you include:
- You can find a testing site by visiting gov/coronavirus, typing your zip code into the box that says “Find a Testing Site Near You” and clicking “GO.”
- You can visit 211ct.org to locate the nearest testing site.
- You can call 2-1-1.
ECHN Urgent Care in South Windsor

- Needs an order; suggest that the patient have a hard copy or picture of the script

- Drive up, no appointment needed. Open 10:30am-12pm Monday – Saturday; closed Sunday (or as long as supplies last)

Hartford Healthcare
- Offer drive-up testing centers at convenient locations throughout the state.
- Offer online appointment scheduling which reduces wait times at our testing locations.
- Ssame-day, on-site evaluation, and testing at our urgent care centers throughout Connecticut.
- Offer tests for adults and children of all ages, when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Offer mobile testing at areas around the state.

- Free walk-up or drive-up COVID-19 (Coronavirus) testing is now available! You do not need to have any symptoms to get tested. No appointment is required
- After you are tested, you will receive your results in 3-5 days.
- Please be prepared to potentially wait due to increased demand in the state – bring a book and/or a snack so your wait is comfortable.
