Dr. Elliot Zweig
Dermatology
Dr. Elliot Zweig is a highly respected dermatologist who has been in practice for over 35 years in West Hartford. Dr. Zweig attended medical school in SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He did his residency at Hartford Hospital. He went on to complete a fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL.

Dr. Zweig provides comprehensive dermatological care including diagnosis of skin cancers, onsite biopsies and excisions, and treatment for skin, hair and nail conditions utilizing the latest treatment options.
He is now seeing patients at 41 North Main Street on a limited basis – Mondays, Tuesdays, and until noon on Wednesdays. Drs. Gjede and Mawhinney will soon be joining him at this location. Call (860) 348-4242 to schedule an appointment.
Dr. Kayvon Alizadeh
Interventional Spine & Pain Management
Dr. Alizadeh is originally from Colorado where he studied biochemistry and chemistry at the University of Colorado. He subsequently received his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences. He completed residencies in General Surgery and Anesthesiology at both University of Vermont and Florida respectively. He went on to complete a multi-disciplinary Pain Fellowship at the University of Florida Health Sciences.
Dr. Alizadeh has nine years of anesthesia/pain management experience. He utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach for pain treatment in order to help expedite pain reduction in his patients. Areas of clinical interest include kyphoplasty, radiofrequency neural ablation, and spinal cord stimulation.
He has held a faculty position in the Department of Anesthesiology at University of Florida, as well as Anesthesiology/Pain Director at Lone Tree Surgical Center in Denver, Colorado. Additionally, Dr. Alizadeh has co-authored multiple presentations and articles in anesthesiology and pain management. In his free time, Dr. Alizadeh enjoys spending his free time with family as well as long distance running.
Dr. Alizadeh will be starting in March and will see patients in Glastonbury and New Britain. He will work closely with our Orthopaedics Department, especially Dr. Karim who is our spine specialist. Call (860) 832-4666 to schedule an appointment.
Jillian D’Eramo RN, MSN, CNM
Midwife in OB/GYN
Jillian is originally from Connecticut. She went to college at the University of Scranton where she studied nursing. She earned her Master’s in Nurse-Midwifery at New York University. Jillian recently relocated back to Connecticut after working as a Labor and Delivery nurse for four and a half years in New York City. In her free time, Jillian enjoys spending time with her family, reading, going to the beach, and traveling.

Lauren Vo, MS, APRN, AGPCNP-BC
Internal Medicine with Dr. Savinelli
Lauren Vo provides comprehensive primary care services to patients from adolescents through older adults, and partners with them to achieve the best outcomes. She received her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island and a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Connecticut. She is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
Lauren has worked in a variety of settings including hospital, primary care, practice-based research, and quality improvement. Her clinical interests include geriatrics, chronic disease management, and patient counseling. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Nursing Honor Society. Lauren lives in Simsbury, CT with her husband and their dog.

Rachel Southard, APRN
Internal Medicine
Rachel attended the University of Connecticut where she earned a B.S in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Winchester Hospital in Massachusetts and at St. Raphael’s Hospital in cardiac telemetry units.
The majority of Rachel’s registered nursing work was spent at Yale New Haven Hospital in the medical intensive care unit. She attended Quinnipiac University where she earned a Master’s in Nursing in the adult nurse practitioner track. She worked as an APRN at Yale New Haven Hospital, focusing on pulmonary care including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cystic fibrosis, and interventional pulmonary.
Rachel is a clinical preceptor for Yale School of Nursing and she is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Connecticut APRNs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and traveling.
