Sara M. Kurker, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, Cardiology

Sara earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with a minor in biology from Curry College in Milton, MA where she was a Dean’s list recipient. She has worked as a registered nurse at Hartford Hospital for close to five years, beginning her first year in medicine and spending her last four in cardiology. 

Sara received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Saint Joseph, having graduated in 2018 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She was a Sigma Theta Tau recipient. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Sara has a soft spot for our elderly population and is very passionate in the specialty of heart failure.

Sara is motivated to live the same holistic lifestyle that she encourages her patients to have, with fitness, and nutrition, but also allowing occasional times to indulge!
