Yasmine Khan Qureshi, OD, is a member of Summit Health’s Ophthalmology team. She has always been fascinated with the complex anatomy and physiology of the visual system. From a young age, she found her calling in healthcare, particularly in optometry. Dr. Qureshi fell in love with the profession through the intense impact an optometrist can have on a patient’s quality of life.

Dr. Qureshi performs comprehensive eye exams and specializes in anterior and posterior ocular disease. She believes in building trusting relationships with her patients, which are built on mutual respect and compassion. Her approach to patient care is all about understanding her patients’ needs and addressing their concerns.

During a visit with her patients, Dr. Qureshi believes that it is most important to listen to and answer all their questions and concerns. “What I enjoy most about completing eye exams is building strong relationships with my patients,” she says. “I enjoy following patients annually and following up on their ocular care.”

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Qureshi likes to explore new, small towns and cafes. She enjoys immersing herself in diverse cultures and trying new foods. She is also passionate about providing eye care to the geriatric population through annual mission trips. These experiences have further enriched her practice and deepened her commitment to her patients.
