Dr. Plummer completed her medical school training at the University of Iowa before completing a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center – Tufts University in Springfield, Massachusetts. She then completed additional fellowship training, working with people with disabilities at Boston Children’s Hospital – Harvard.

Dr. Plummer worked in Massachusetts for 20 years, providing primary care and working to improve care for patients with complex special healthcare needs in a community health center practice and teaching site. She has gained a strong reputation as a caring and trusted partner for patients with complex medical needs and their families throughout her career. Most recently she was recruited to improve care for people with disabilities in her home state of Iowa before returning to Connecticut to be a part of Starling Physicians.

Board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, she is committed to partnering with all patients to support them in their health and life goals, no matter what the challenges may be.

Dr. Plummer enjoys music, reading, and hiking in New England throughout the year with her family.
