Lori has been a Maternal Child Health RN for 27 years. She is experienced with inpatient and outpatient care, labor and delivery at Hartford Hospital, and lactation services at St Francis. She has been in Breastfeeding Private Practice since 2015.

She shares, “Attending my best friend’s delivery many years ago led me to fall in love with women’s health. My long and varied expertise includes excelling as a labor and delivery RN at a large city hospital, running an obstetrical clinic, teaching all kinds of childbirth and breastfeeding classes, and creating, as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, a comprehensive, hospital-wide breast pump program.”​

Lori believes in-hospital breastfeeding care is so important for new parents, but is frustrated for families if they struggle to find the support they need after coming home, when breastfeeding problems are more common. That is why she started her practice to help patients with a range of issues associated with breastfeeding so she could help women achieve their breastfeeding goals. Click here to learn more.

Lori lives in Colchester, CT with her husband of 25 years, and loves to advocate for women and families, garden, read, and occasionally sleep past 6.
