Biography
Dr. Isaac Okyere Ampofo is a board certified doctor of nurse practice with a focus in family medicine. He received his clinical training at Yale University and Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, graduating with a master’s degree in nursing and doctoral of nurse practice respectively. Prior to his graduate degree at Yale, Dr. Ampofo obtained a Master of International Studies from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Ghana – Legon.
Dr. Ampofo’s clinical focus is family medicine and helping those with chronic and acute illnesses. He has also received training in the management and treatment of cardiac-related diseases.
Dr. Ampofo is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American College of Cardiology, Graduate Mentor for Yale University’s Graduate Entry Pre-specialty in Nursing program.
Dr. Ampofo is also CEO, AMP HomeCare Solutions LLC and Founder of Hope Enhanced Foundation.
