Chelsea LaVoie, OD was born and raised in CT where she earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Hartford. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she graduated as salutatorian of her class. Dr. LaVoie spent years working in eyecare as an optician prior to completing her education and is also a licensed optician. Dr. LaVoie appreciates the constant learning that healthcare offers and enjoys sharing complete and current information with her patients.

Dr. LaVoie specializes in providing comprehensive eyecare to patients of all ages, with a particular interest in ocular disease. She strives to address her patient’s individual concerns and aims for patients to leave their appointment feeling listened to, with a clear understanding of any treatment plan.

“It is important to me that during a visit a patient feels comfortable asking any questions and confident in the care they are receiving, “ says Dr. LaVoie. “My favorite part of what I do is educating patients on their unique eye health needs.”

Outside of work, Dr. LaVoie enjoys spending time with her family. She spends much of her free time hiking with her dog, horseback riding, and just enjoying the outdoors. Dr. LaVoie is passionate about spreading awareness of the importance of regular comprehensive eye exams, which are not only crucial for the detection and treatment of eye conditions but can also play a significant role in the early detection of common systemic health conditions.
