New courier Service: Lab Logistics went live on Monday, June 16th increasing administrative mail pick up and drop off in Glastonbury, Bloomfield, and Granby. We will continue to expand the service to all CMG site when the new Starling expanded lab is up and running in 2018.
Starling Physician Priority Referral Service: was implemented in April. This program was created to give our Starling patients VIP treatment when being referred to a Starling specialist; our goal is to identify the need prior to check out and schedule the appointment for the patient in the soonest available opening. Referral volume continues to grow month to month.
Access Center: recently opened on Monday, June 26th. Please join us for our open house on July 13th from 5:30pm-8:00pm at 505 Willard Ave, Building 1 in Newington – light refreshments will be served.
Electronic Health Records: implementation continues to move along. Internal Medicine is live in all locations. Other departments that are live include: Hematology, Nephrologic Associates, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Neurology and Urology.
