March 19, 2019Heart failure means your heart is not pumping blood as well as it should be. Heart failure is responsible for one of the highest rates of hospitalization in the United States.
That is why Starling now has our own Congestive Heart Failure Clinic. Our goal is to help people get the necessary IV diuretics, education, and support to successful manage heart failure and reduce fluid retention.
Our team is here to patients resolve issues- quickly and proactively- so they can avoid trips to the hospital, emergency room, or face serious complications.
Warning signs of heart failure include increased severity or intensity of the following:
- Sudden weight gain
- Worsening shortness of breath
- Persistent coughing or wheezing
- Swelling in feet, ankles, legs,
- or other areas of the body
- Tiredness or fatigue
- Lack of appetite, nausea
- Confusion, impaired thinking
