Maria Turturici, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, Internal Medicine, New Britain
June 12, 2021Maria graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2010, earning her bachelor of science degree in Nursing. Her goal was to eventually return and complete her graduate degree. She practiced as a registered nurse at Hartford Hospital, remaining on her unit for over ten years and caring for many different populations with varying health conditions. In 2020, Maria graduated from the University of Saint Joseph with a master’s degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her capstone at Starling Physicians with the Internal Medicine/ Nephrology division and really enjoyed her experiences and observations within that time.
Maria has always had a passion for learning and continues to seek out educational opportunities to strengthen her knowledge base in an ever-changing healthcare system. Maria has chosen primary care because she knew she wanted to be with her patients from the beginning and support them through whatever their lives bring. Maria wants to be an active resource for her patients and provide them with the proper tools they need to live a healthy and balanced life. Her goal is to work together with patients to foster achievement of an optimal health outcome.
