Mahesh Patel , MD, FACP, Internal Medicine: Avon and New Britain

Dr. Patel is an experienced, board-certified internal medicine practitioner. He previously served with Starling Physicians as a member of our Hospital Medicine team caring for patients at Hartford Hospital.

Dr. Patel sees patients in Avon on Monday and Wednesday. For the remainder of the week, he will see internal medicine patients at 300 Kensington in New Britain. He performs a wide range of primary care services including:

• Annual physical exams, routine screenings, and healthy lifestyle promotion
• Treatment of illness including sinus infections, flu, digestive problems, and back pain
• Detection and medical management of chronic health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, cholesterol, thyroid, and heart disease
• Immunizations and travel medicine
• Cancer screenings
• Heart health, including blood pressure monitoring and electrocardiograms
