Every 3 minutes someone in the United States is diagnosed with a blood cancer. The good news is, since the 1960s, survival rates for many blood cancer patients has doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled. But more support is needed.

That is why oncologist Dr. Madhavi Gorusu is proud to lead a team at the annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light the Night walk. Over the past two years, LLS helped advance 41 of 46 FDA-approved blood cancer therapies. Light the Night raises critical funds to support these advances and to provide patient support & advocacy for patients.
