Giving HOPE to the Bristol Community

Starling Physicians was proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of a charitable event called Hope – Helping Others Passionately & Empathetically.  This event, co-hosted by Bristol Central High School Interact Club and Healthtrax was a charity fitness challenge benefitting 5 local charities in the Bristol area – Brian’s Angels Homeless Outreach, Bristol Special Olympics Everybunny Counts Rabbit Rescue, For Goodness Sake, Operation Fuel.  The event raised over $9,000 for these charities.

Event was held on March 10th at Healthtrax in Bristol. Over 75 students, community members, and sponsors registered for the event and participated in Spin, Step, Zumba, BootCamp, Fight, Yoga and other classes. Participants were asked to raise a minimum of $50 in donations prior to the event.

A special thank you to staff members Michele Gagnon and Darcy Bentivengo who played a key role on the organizing committee. And, thank you to the Starling team who came out to support such a great event.
