Announcing Our New CEO

The Starling Board of Directors is excited to announce Jarrod Brett Post, MD as President and CEO of Starling Physicians. Dr. Post most recently served as the Chief Medical Officer for Starling over the past two years. During that time he has shown a tireless effort, infectious enthusiasm, and astute analytical capabilities. These qualities are key to leading Starling forward.

Dr. Post served as the CEO of Connecticut Multispecialty Group (CMG) from 2012 to 2015. He is, or has, served as a board member for CMG, Hartford Hospital, Integrated Care Partners, National Physician Services, and the Connecticut branch of the National Kidney Foundation. Over the past three years, in addition to his clinical and management duties, he studied for an MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.   

Starling Physicians is an independent private practice group with over 240 physicians and providers that was formed in 2016 through the merger of Grove Hill Medical Centers and CMG. Starling Physicians represents over 25 different specialties in 30 locations throughout central Connecticut. Starling is well positioned for the future. In the changing medical landscape, Starling is committed to helping partners provide the highest quality and best value care for patients. Based on his background, preparation, and dynamic leadership, Dr. Post is well suited to lead Starling into the future.
