Clarification on 2019 HHC Employee Health Plan

Below is a message from Debra Hayes who is Chief Operating Officer at Hartford Healthcare:

“There seems to be some confusion around the 2019 HHC Preferred Network. To be clear, all ICP providers and Quality Affiliates are included in the 2019 HHC Preferred Network with Aetna, formerly known as Tier 1. Starling is considered a Quality Affiliate. This network is for HHC employees who are covered by the HHC Aetna plans. If HHC employees choose providers outside of the HHC Preferred Network, the cost of care will continue to be higher.  We are simply renaming Tier 1 to HHC Preferred Network.”
