Alla Kirzon, APRN, Internal Medicine: Newington

Alla Kirzon, APRN started her career in the Boston area as a surgical nurse at Cambridge Community Hospital. Following her husband, she traveled to New Mexico, providing home health care in Santa Fe. Coming back to Connecticut, Alla treated adult and geriatric patients as a part of Masonicare Home Health.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Alla worked at Anthem/Aspire providing support and palliative care to patients with complex health conditions. Before joining Starling Physicians, she provided comprehensive health services including routine care and screenings, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, and promotion of healthy living at Avery Height Rehabilitation Center in Hartford.

Treating a variety of wounds is Alla’s passion. She is an expert in wound care and has built wound care programs with an emphasis on prevention and up-to-date treatment. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.

Alla is fluent in Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, and speaks some Polish. She and her family reside in West Hartford. She likes cynology, Zumba, painting, and exploring different cultures.

Alla will see patients in Internal Medicine in Newington starting mid-June.
